Sculptural pair of mid-century modern wrought-iron hoop lounge chairs dating to the 1950s–1960s. Each chair features a full circular barrel back formed from a continuous iron hoop, with vertically oriented rod construction across the backrest and a slatted iron seat. Twisted iron side stretchers add subtle decorative detail while reinforcing the structure. The chairs rest on four tapered iron legs terminating in ball feet, giving the design a light, architectural stance.
The proportions are characteristic of period lounge seating, with a low seat height and compact footprint, making these chairs well suited for indoor-outdoor use, patio or sunroom seating, or as sculptural accent chairs in a modern interior. The iron has been professionally refinished and presents in excellent condition.
