An exceptional Salterini “Radar” lounge set, attributed to Maurizio Tempestini, dating from the late 1950s to early 1960s. This sculptural six-piece set includes three Radar lounge chairs, two matching pedestal side tables, and an adjustable-height cocktail table with a rotating Lazy Susan at its lowest setting.

One of the most iconic designs of the Atomic Age, the Radar collection is celebrated for its sweeping elliptical silhouettes, expanded steel mesh, and graceful tubular steel frames. While the design is widely attributed to Maurizio Tempestini, no known period documentation definitively confirms the attribution.

Professionally refinished in a beautiful high-gloss white, the set is in fantastic restored condition. The frames are solid, the mesh is crisp and intact, and the finish highlights the collection’s timeless sculptural form.

The adjustable cocktail table is a particularly desirable feature, converting from a low coffee table with a rotating Lazy Susan to a higher occasional table for entertaining.

A striking example of American mid-century design, this Salterini Radar set combines sculptural elegance with enduring craftsmanship and remains a standout addition to any garden, patio, or modern interior.
